After you have pressed hold to clear the machine you have to close the gam220 so the readout goes to zero. My bosch gam 220 mf angle finder is stuck on 1.6 degress and the hold won't go away. Tried googling as im sure you have but cant find anything on it . Here is a sample link to gam 220 mf forum post. Sounds silly, but have you taken out the batteries and left it for a while?
